As this range has a flat top surface, how large is the gap between the wall and the back of the range? Due to the cord plug, I assume it has to stand at least an inch, leaving a gap. Thanks! null

There is a space at the bottom of the stove specifically designed to accommodate the outlet and the cord. Look in the install specs. Here is a pic of mine. I haven't done the backsplash yet, but it's able to sit pretty close to the wall. The cord and the anti-tip bracket shouldn't be a big issue.
