“Where does the charging cord come out at? Some stick vacuums seem to need a height appropriate charging location. Is this one that needs an outlet on the wall or just the floor?”

Wall or floor is fine for this unit.

Comes out at the bottom and there is a longer cord. You can route it through the back or either side.

The cord is on the main unit only and is at the very bottom.
