“How sturdy is the cover in stand mode? When you tap the screen (e.g. while composing an email or playing a game) does it collapse or does it stay standing?”

This cover is very stable, it uses strong magnets and as a game player it holds up great to strong repeated tapping.

It works well kicked up for games....havent had mine drop yet.

I guess it depends on how hard you tap, but we have had no issues with it collapsing while composing emails, web surfing, etc. Holding up well so far

It stands up great in either position. I have been using it that way for over a month and have zero complaints.
