Not at all. Here's a trick though, you need to push it in with a little pressure until you hear the sound "click".

Yes, you must make sure the pen clicks into place in the pen holder. Then it will be fine.

Yes this is probably the worst cover I've ever bought...especially since it is a Samsung case. BIG WASTE OF MONEY!!!! I actually took the pen holder off. Case collapses very easily. Very frustrating. I have always bought the manufacture case to go with tablet.. SO DISAPPOINTED. Try Amazon and spend alot less money and one that actually supports the tablet
