• I'm sure Samsung wanted to push people towards the Keyboard instead of this for those early adopters. I was able to order one from BB last weekend (9/8) and already have it. It's a great case.

• Probably because it was made in a different factory and they were having production delays.

• Sometimes accessories such as cases and book covers for new devices are not released for a month or even two after the new device is released. For example, whenever I purchase a brand new phone ot tablet, the selection of cases, Book Covers are very limited. So I purchase a basic cover to place on my device and in about a week, two weeks, I check again for a nicer cover. I prefer Samsung Covers for my tablets because they are great quality and look new longer.
