• No. There are tablet bluetooth keyboards that are which might work better, and there are less expensive ones.

• The Samsung rep lied. It is definetly NOT backlit. Wish it was

• I just did a chat with Samsung support and relayed your question (mine as well). The rep said "Yes, it is backlit with adjustable brightness".
