• Yes. You will need an HDMI to USB-C cable or HDMI to display port cable depending on your iMac model.

• I don't remember what kind of connector the iMac has. I believe it is HDMI so it should present no problem. The monitor has both HDMI and VGA connectors. I just tried a Mac mini with no problems.
