• Hi Jess, Chef Baking mode is the traditional bake mode. In Chef Bake mode, you can set the oven to any temperature from 175 °F to 550 °F. ^Rosi

• there is no difference in either baking options. This range is a joke for $3000, I hate myself for buying it. Customer service does NOT help. Terrible. The "upper" oven is only a broiler. it is NOT an upper oven. You CANNOT bake a turkey in the bottom oven, it gets wacked out and computer panel tells you to remove the thermometer probe even if you don't have it in. $3000. Scratches all over and glass top will not clean after a few months. I am a very clean person. I did everything as directed. $3000!!!!!!!

• Chef Bake is regular bake.. i.e. the convection fan is off.
