QuestionHow much time can you record for?It says you can get a memory card that will let you store up to 6hours of footage, but how long at a time can you record for? As in, will it cut you off after 60 minutes or anything?

- Answer I just got mine..and the camera displays remaining battery life while recording. It ticks down in real time. Considering my battery is brand new, so far it records a reliable 186 minutes. Playback greatly alters the battery life and becomes far less predictable. I am pretty impressed with the battery life!

- Answer With the proper software, its as easy as copying and pasting the video file to your computer, then loading the video into your favorite burning software.

- Answer The SC-MX20 does have some internal memory (about 50MB) but its really not enough to record anything at length. Using a High Capacity memory card (SD or MMC) will give you much more space to record.

- Answer Not directly but if you get a capture card/USB device it works well. I have A Dazzle USB and the combo works with Skype.

- Answer Good question, this is what I asked before I bought mine. The answer is no, it is strictly a camcorder, it is the best camcorder for its price range. If you want to spend $400+ for still shots too then you can get one in hd and still shots (there are ones in this price range that say hd, but truely aren't).

QuestionIf connected to a TV -- Can I record and watch on TV at the same time?It may sound like a crazy question but I have a Sanyo and can't do that -- I audition actors and need to watch the monitor WHILE I record.

- Answer Yes you can use the composite RCA cables included to go to the monitor. If you are capturing direct into the computer as well you'll need a female to 2 male Y splitter and capture card/USB device. Otherwise you should be able to record straight to the Flash card. You also have the option to see the display menus on the monitor or shut them off .

QuestionVista Compatible.I looked at the specs first and noticed it's not Vista Compatible... I was fine with this when I found out that only described the computer editing capabilities. But after checking Samsung's website, THEY say it IS vista compatible.... So... is it? or isn't it??

- Answer Not very long actually. The camcorder only has about 50 mb of internal memory, which will only records a few minutes of video.
