Will this work with a New 3DS XL? null

I can't guarantee it but the 3D XLS site I looked at says 32 Gb sd cards can be used and those were the SanDisk Extremes. Comparable item so I would think so.

Not sure really. I didn't know the 3DS took micro SD cards for memory.

I am using this card for a Windows 10 Tablet, so I cannot say if it will work with a 3DS XL. I would check the manufacturer's documentation to see what type of format does the 3DS XL require when using a micro sd card and if the device will format the card to meet the device's required format for saving data to the card.
