A:Answer If you put a new card in your device, it will be clean to store data from the very first moment; and the data of your old memory card will remain in it, unless you format it or wipe it. To re-read your old data stored in your old memory card, you can put it into a reader (many laptops and computers have builtin SD readers, so you'll only need an SD adapter); or buy a SD or microSD card reader (they're cheap; but if it's SD only, you'll need again a card reader). I don't remember if this Samsung card came with a SD adapter; but i have many of them from previous microSD cards (the MicroSD cards used to come with an adapter), and they work well with this new microSD card.
