A:Answer UPDATE: I read that question wrong, you asked if compatible with an "S". Not a "5". Si, compadre. Up to 1TB your Galaxy "S" can utilize. So this would be excelente! Just 30 bucks cheaper today on Amazon. FOR THE 512gb that is. 89.99 vs 119.99 here.
Yes it very well could be. The only thing that could hold it back is the older Galaxy's can have a hard time reading anything over 256GB and your Galaxy 5 might not recognize/process over 128GB. So do your homework. 128GB definitely. And I'm gonna say mmmmyeaaa, on a 256GB. Hey ya may get lucky (probably not?) and a 512GB ends up running smooth as silk. Amazons about 30 bucks cheaper for the 512GB as of the time of this writing. (6-24-2020). And these Red & White Samsungs have always served me a tad better than the Green & White Samsung Evo micro SD's. Then again I've had 12 G&W's of all sizes for thier reliability and only 2 R&W ones, both 256gb. So that's an unfair assessment. I know this, Samsung only for drives. And a SanDisk only if it's an Extreme/Extreme Pro. Otherwise everything else just seems to corrupt losing data, cuz now ya gotta reformat it. Or they just plain die. Or even worse, your 128gb now only shows it's a 32GB. All Trash. Get a Samsung and lose the worries.
