The Canon 6 will read a SDXC card in full size (not micro) so you will need the holder adapter to work. Most micro memory cards come with it.

Where the card is inserted it will show a little picture of the shape and will say micro or just say sd, if it takes the full size sd card you are better to buy a full size sd card, the adapter will let a micro sd card work, but full size sd cards are generally faster, so unless you plan to switch the card from your camera to a micro sd device you should go with the dedicated card size to avoid complications and gain the optimized speeds.

I can't say for certain, but it should. it works in my girlfriends d3100 which is a 2010 model, I believe yours is a 2015, you should be fine.

I can't say for certain, but it should. it works in my girlfriends d3100 which is a 2010 model, I believe yours is a 2015, you should be fine.
