There have been upgrades to the Family Hub interface between the first generation Family Hub devices and the second, namely voice and application integration with some tweaks to the performance of the appliance's on-board computer. You can now set multiple profiles, listen to Spotify and send pictures and data to the Family Hub from the smartphone and tablet apps.
