Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't consider this to be loud when it's making ice but I consider it normally loud when getting ice and water from the door. We like the crushed ice option, but it tends to be slow because it's grinding the ice into little pieces.

It’s the same noise I have heard on any other refrigerator I have owned with an ice maker. I’ve never heard it make any other noise. Can you be more specific on what noise you’ve read about (ie desription on the sound)?
