“Tried copper and poly tubing, the ice is totally cloudy. Looks like frozen milk and makes drinks taste off. 2 new filters same issue.Anyone else have this issue? Samsung answers/posts link to generic support page, no help. Any solutions?”

We have had the Family hub Refrigerator for 3 months and our water/ice line is totally plastic. Our water source is off the RO purification system and both the water and ice are crystal clear, same as w/our previous refrigerator. It's not the plastic vs. copper tubing or the in situ filters, however check your water at the source....

White particles that appear in ice are caused by minerals in the water that are not visible at room temperature, but become visible when frozen. This is more common in areas with hard water, and not an issue with the fridge. ^Jecca
