• Hi MALTESE-1, The NX58J7750SS and other Samsung Gas Ranges do have sealed burners, which prevents crumbs and other spills from falling underneath the cook top, making it difficult to clean. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

• Sealed. No spills goes through inside the stove top. The standard burners have a gap, I think, that spills can go through to the area under the burners.

• They are sealed and yes, you want that. It certainly is a pain to clean around and underneath unsealed burners.
