Q: QuestionWhere do you keep/store the flex duo divider when not in use?

• A:Answer I just pull it out and lay it on a towel on the kitchen counter or any place until I finish baking. Annoying but there is no place to slide it away within the stove. Wish there was. The bottom drawer is not a warming drawer and they should have used that space to store the divider.

• A:Answer Yes it has a regular , conventional oven as well as a true convection oven. The power burner is what I wanted for gumbo . Changed to gas because of the weather in La. , we maybe with out power for days in a hurricane.

Q: QuestionIf not cooking at two different temperatures, what's best?If I am not cooking at two different temperatures, is it best to take out the divider and use the whole oven instead of using just one section? Or is it OK to normally use only one section? Also, if I do take out the divider to use the whole oven, does it matter which set of controls I use - upper or lower? Or do I need to set both upper and lower to the same settings?

• A:Answer Personally we keep the divider in. I sort of figure the smaller the area to heat, the more efficient the operation. It is okay to normally use the larger over but it will result in a slightly less economical operation. With the divider out, use the upper controls. The left controls indicate that operation. Do not use both. unless the divider is in place.

• A:Answer Hi MALTESE-1, The NX58J7750SS and other Samsung Gas Ranges do have sealed burners, which prevents crumbs and other spills from falling underneath the cook top, making it difficult to clean. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

Q: QuestionWhere do you store the divider when not using in split mode?If you are only cooking one dish should you use the split mode and only use the top?

• A:Answer Thanks for your interest in the NX58J7750SG. Unlike the Electric Flex Duo models, there's no built-in storage for the divider when not in use, so you may choose to store it in a cabinet with cookie sheets or standing up in another suitable, out of the way location. Most people actually use the oven with the divider installed the majority of the time, whether they're using just the upper or lower oven or both. If you're cooking only one dish that fits in the divided oven, it's fine to use it in Twin mode; this can save both time and energy compared to heating the entire 5.8 cubic foot oven. - Ms. Samsung

Q: QuestionIf you are using the top oven and the bottom oven is turned off, what is the temperature in the bottom oven?Since there's no warming drawer, it would be nice to be able to use the bottom oven as a warming area. I just wonder if the bottom oven gets too heated up by the top oven being on.

• A:Answer Thanks for the question, Lois. The temperature of the lower oven when the top oven is in use varies depending on the setting and mode being used in the upper oven. If the upper oven is used at a relatively low temperature (e.g., 250-300°F), the lower oven would be warm. I'd suggest referring to page 37 of the NX58J7750SS User Manual to get an idea of how the temperature in one of the oven cavities impacts the temperature of the other. - Ms. Samsung

Q: QuestionBurnersI noticed on most of my burners that even though the control knobs show different levels of fuel ranges my is either high or low with very little difference if set on medium. Also, my middle large burner shows the same level of fuel at any level. Is this normal for a gas stove? Sorry, today is my first day using a gas stove. Does each burner off a different range of fuel levels?

• A:Answer Hi Confused, Thanks for the question. Each burner on your NX58J7750SS has an adjustable flame height, with the "Low" to "High" range varying based on the maximum BTUs for that burner. It's important that the burners be adjusted by the qualified installer to ensure the appropriate flame color and height so the gas can burn safely and efficiently regardless of the knob setting. I'd suggest contacting your installer to confirm whether this was done when yours was installed. - Ms. Samsung

Q: QuestionIf using both ovens and the food in the bottom oven is done I understand you would need to use the single door to get to the bottom oven. How much does it affect the temperature in the top oven?

• A:Answer I'd say to be quick about removing the item in the oven and get the door closed. You will loose some of the heat in the upper oven though. So unless you are doing something that is critical to maintain a certain temp, you should be ok.

• A:Answer No - it prevents you from being able to open the oven door though. You hold a button for a few seconds and then it locks it. Hold it again for a few seconds and it unlocks.
