• You can open just the top door, or you can open the entire front door as one unit. You can not open the bottom door only. So yes, if you open the bottom oven, the top oven is also open. Grab the handle and open and you have opened the entire front. Squeeze the lever on the handle, and you open only the top oven. Those are the only 2 options.

• You can open the door as a whole or just the top part. You push the button on handle to just open the top oven. I hope this helps.

• Yes you can open top by itself by hitting button on handle or whole door by just pulling on door

• Hi there, This oven door is a single oven door with access to the top part of the Double Oven function. That way when you use the double oven function you do not loose all of the heat from the lowest part. Thank you for choosing Samsung. ^Brad
