“How much clearance does this range need behind it? I've found the amount of space needed above the cook top, but cannot find anything about behind the range.”

A good rule of thumb when installing a range is that there should be 2 inches of space between the back wall and the range. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the range does not reauire any space behind as long as the plug is low enough to clear. Our plug is about 8 inches from the top to the floor. There is more than enough room, even with the warmer drawer for the power cord to slide under as well.
