“Is the back panel recessed at the bottom to accommodate a floor outlet? We have a floor mounted power outlet for our current range, which measures 4.5" L X 3" D X 2.5" H (3.5" high when including the range power cord). Our existing range is recessed at the bottom of the back panel, so the range slides right over the outlet. Some ranges have back panels which run straight from top to bottom, so will not accommodate a floor outlet. I can find no diagrams or photos online of the range back. Can anyone help out here? Here's a picture of our floor outlet which is attached to our tile floor. Thank you!”

Our plug is mounted on the floor. They didn't have any problem installing it with the placement of our plug. The quarter round trim on the left and right of the cabinets in that space had to be removed. When they delivered our fridge they told us we had to remove the baseboard behind the stove if we wanted the bracket mounted.

The NE59J7850WS does have a recessed area in the back to accommodate the electrical connections, but the recommended location for the outlet is on the wall behind the bottom of the Range. Please refer to the Installation Guide which can be downloaded as a pdf file from Samsung's website for illustrations and additional information. - Ms. Samsung
