• It runs android apps. They have office available in the google play store, but it’s very basic compared to the pc/Mac version.

• Chromebooks can't run Windows programs yet (Google and Parallels are partnering to bring Windows apps to Chrome OS), but right now you can run Progressive Web Apps, Chrome Web Apps, Android Apps from the Play Store, and desktop Linux apps.
