• I bought one yesterday and put my verizon sim card in it and it works just fine.

• Pretty sure Verizon has finally retired CDMA. According to multiple sources, this phone is compatible w pretty much all carriers because the industry has converged on a v small number of communication standards for wireless telephony & data transfer. But if you have doubts, a quick call to your service provider can give you an authoritative response.
