My phone came unlocked. I transferred the Sim card from my old phone to the A51 to use it on the Verizon network. Contact AT&T to purchase a Sim card and add the phone to your account. If you bought the phone in-store they should be able to help you with this. I didn't have to do anything, the Best Buy associate took care of everything to setup my new Samsung Galaxy A51.
