This model sold at Best Buy is compatible with both GSM and CDMA Providers. There are other varients versions of this device, and you more than likely were reading about the international version which only supports GSM Providers. That version also doesn't support 5G. So you have to be careful when doing research, because getting all of the model varients and other competing with it such as Galaxy A32 and A72 all have different qualities depending on where in the world you are located and even how much your willing to spend.
