Why is there a $100.00 difference in price when you assist in getting phone connected to carrier ($249) rather then doing it later or doing it yourself ($349) shouldn't it be the other way around? null

Nah, they want you the phone to be registered with the carrier and then make it so u cant switch to another carrier. I would js buy and do it yourself because its easier and you don't have to wait weeks to connect your phone. While if they do it I had to wait almost a 4 weeks.

Getting it with a carrier is more expensive in the long run. It is locked to that provider for at least 60 days and the plans are usually upwards of $125. Youa re expected to pay that cost upfront.
