“How does this unlocked but yet "activated" concept work? If I have an existing AT&T line can I activate the phone on that line? How long am I committed to this? Can I move the next day to a different carrier, without penalty?”

• When you purchase the device choose the activate later option. That's what I do. Once you buy the device simply insert your sim card and you should be good to go
