“When making a call in the car thru bluetooth, the connection is terrible. It's staticky and impossible to understand on the other end. It is so bad that I had to switch to the handset. Does it have something to do with WiFi calling being turned on?”

Three reasons this might be happening to your cell.. If you have another Bluetooth device, it might be interfering with your Bluetooth call. Many Bluetooth devices on at the same time and in close proximity will slow your Bluetooth connection. Turn off all other close proximity Bluetooth devices. If you are on Wi-Fi 2.4ghz, you will have interference because of that frequency. Try to connect to a 5ghz router to stop this. Finally, you may need to reset your Wi-Fi/Bluetooth in settings because it maybe corrupted. Go to settings and look for Reset. Then go to Reset Network Settings and reset Bluetooth. You will have to reenter your Wi-Fi password and reconnect your Bluetooth device to your cell after you do your reset.
