• A53 is only nano sim, 2nd slot on the cradle is for a SD card

• Mine work for me on 5g in 1st slot.. my question is.. does your sim support 5G? If its an old sim you may need to upgrade it to your provider.. haven't tried the 2nd slot coz i use it for my extra memory
