    • Answer Its a fully unlocked phone. Meaning it wasn't a carrier locked phone and then unlocked. No it's unlocked from the beginning. It will work on boost.

  • QuestionWill an unlocked Samsung Galaxy A54 5G Model SMA546U (US version) or Model SMA546E (International Version) work with Boost Mobile.

    • Answer SMA546E* (Latin American version) doesn't have all of the US bands. E.g. it doesn't have band 71 that T-mobile (one of the Boost network of choice) uses for rural coverage. You WILL have problems with coverage and you WILL have subpar data speeds if you buy anything but the US model SMA546U. In addition the US model has e-sim and physical sim slot. The SMA546E has two physical sim slots but no e-sim, which is a hassle when you travel abroad and want to switch quickly using e-sim. SMA546E should not be sold in the US with all the problems it creates for the users.

  • QuestionDoes this phone allow for wireless charging?

    • Answer nope! discovered that when I got it home. I asked a Best Buy Rep about that when I went back to get a cover for it (which by the way, you have to order). The A54 (and also the A14) need to be plugged in. The charging cord that comes in the box needs an adapter which isn't included. The older Samsung chargers work, just not the wireless one.

    • Answer Yes, it does. One speaker, the one you put to your ear, is hardly visible at the top edge of the screen. The second speaker in on the bottom edge of the frame facing down and next to the power connector. The sound from both is great and can be very loud. The stereo effect is pretty good.
