Yes its unlocked it should work with any carrier

Yes. I am using it on tmobile now. Works great.

If it works with Verizon and in the rural area that I live in I think it should still give pretty good signal. Now I will say t-mobile doesn't give good service in my area but if you are in the city and not the country you should be good to go.
