“Does anyone have issues with interference? I have to hold the phone near these or I get interference, like when I hold the phone at my side or in my pocket. Totally defeats the purpose, and I wonder if mine are just defective?”

I have not had that issue. I can go about 30 feet away and hear good, even thru most walls. The only time i get interference is when i get about 30 feet away with a wall in between me and my phone.
