• About 25-30 feet. Typical Bluetooth range. It will make a sound when it is out of range as well.

• I've managed 50-60 feet from my phone with the phone in my car without issue, using one bud at a time. The buds connect directly to your phone individually, so you can use one, the other or both with the same range performance.
