“Are these buds water proof, water resistant, or neither”

• This answer is based completely on a review (posted by a guy in the tech industry who received a gift pair at a tech conference before they were marketed) that I read after my purchase. According to him, these buds are neither water proof or sweat proof which would lead me to believe that they are not water resistant either. He did not recommend wearing them in the rain either.

• Samsung Buds are IPX2 rated: this means that they're resistant to sweat and a bit of rain, but are NOT submersible.
