Will this track my bike riding distance? null

I have this device and a Samsung phone, and yes Samsung Health will track the distance of your ride. However, Samsung Health would do that alone. So what this gets you is a heart rate monitor that will be overlayed with the other data about your ride (distance, pace, elevation, etc.).

I have never used it to ride a bike but when I mow the lawn it starts to track as if I am riding a bike.

I am sorry, but I have no idea. I do not ride a bike. Like others, it counts your steps just by the movement of your wrist. It counts "steps" when I am sitting down and petting my cat.
