My wife wears it, and she states that she receives the normal notifications, from her phone (Note 8). She also has it set to vibrate, when she receives the alerts. I bought this watch to replace her previous Fit. She had an older model, which still worked, but stopped receiving notification. Regardless of what we did, factory reset, hard reset, suggestions from the internet. Nothing would fix the older Galaxy watch.

I had a Gear Fit2 until I had problems with the sensor in the backside falling out. That was actually to big for my small wrist. The Galaxy Fit a smaller version on the Gear Fit2 and I love it.
