“Can you activate phone through verizon”

• This is configured to be added to an existing Verizon account, either with a new number to add to your existing plan or to replace an existing number on your plan. If you are not already a Verizon Wireless customer then you should not buy this phone. I confirmed this with online BestBuy support prior to my purchasing it. On start up it prompts for adding and activating to your existing plan. Worked just fine. Note: Data is turned on by default and it will ask to update - If you do not have unlimited data answer no, disable Data connections in settings and use Wi-Fi for updates instead.

• Yes. You call and provide the IMEI and sim number. There is no charge if you are a current customer.
