Phone was a cheaper replacement for a Galaxy S5 that got locked in an update loop that couldn't be reset. And by the time I traveled to a tech to reflash, it wasn't worth it. Got the J7 for around $200, as opposed to a Galaxy S8 for hundreds more. Like the title says, the battery duration is amazing. My S5 I had to recharge by mid day, now when I go to bed this J7 is still at 70%. And I still use all the apps the same as I had on my S5. The only minor thing is sometimes it's not a speedy as it could be. Some lags with some Apps. But for the price....Excellent

Over the years I've had probably 8-10 cell phones. I use them basically for talking; and texting when I can't talk. The J7 is really all I need to do both. Don't need all the bells and whistles, since my world does not revolve around my phone. This phone is the perfect size and weight. Has a decent camera and more than adequate battery life. What more can I ask for?

This phone has all of the functions that I used when I had a galaxy note 5, and It costs a lot less than the new note 8. The charge seems to hold a lot longer than on my galaxy note 5, but you cannot use a fast charger. It has a slot for SD card to increase storage. The speed seems a bit slower when I open text messages, etc. I don't stream videos, so that is not too big of a deal for me. Overall I am satisfied.

For my daughter as a starter phone enough space to add apps and play her games and store a pictures not to expensive but almost as good as the new and great phoned

This is a great entry level phone. I bought it for my 13 year old son and he loves it. Battery life is good as are features. Memory is a little small so by a micro SD card

This is a great phone for beginners. Bought it as a gift. Was easy to explain to recipient and to use. Screen size is large and easy to see. The phone is lightweight.

I like how large and screen is, and how easy the phone is to use. I can tell no difference from it, and a S7. It can even get onboard FM Radio.

I'm a middle aged user and this phone has every feature I could ever want at a significantly cheaper price than it's competitors. Granted, I purchased it a year after release, but that's an even further testament to its quality in my opinion. I've had zero problems with it thus far.

i needed a phone with memory- 16GB with an SD card worked. This phone is user friendly and fulfills my needs with being too complicated. I can do everything I like to do with room to grow.

The Samsung Galaxy 47 LTE phone is a great replacement for the Samsung Prime that i had. It has al lot more new features and lot more power. Just a great phone. Good Choice.

Wife dropped her phone, an S4 so fairly old. Researching found this to be a good replacement for a really good price.

In deciding the best phone for me I choose the Samsung 7 V . The price was a great plus as that could not of been better. Due to taking many pictures with my phone the camera and the fact I can add a memory card is the reason I choose this model. Anyone looking for a great phone and value this product is for you.

We previously had Galaxy S5 phones. This is a little better phone and camera than the S5. The battery is fantastic. On the S5 when new, it would last all day, and later needed recharged in the evening. With the J7, the battery is good for two days of similar usage. It doesn't have all the new features of the S9, it is fantastic for games, some research, news, communication, and pictures.

Bought for our daughter and she loves it. Does everything she needs it to do plus more and she thinks it's better camera than her old iphone 5s.

They market this entry level phone as good for older people, and while the phone was great, my mom just couldn't handle the touch screen and all the sophisticated features. For those of us who can handle it, it won't have enough memory for us. So I'm not sure who this phone is appropriate for. But it did work well and was a great Samsung phone.

Phone, voicemail, messenger,apps. Like an all in one phone and just great for a beginner like my wife who the phone was bought for.

This phone was exactly what I was looking for. I don't need an expensive or fancy phone. I love Samsung's & the J7 is perfect!
