I "stepped down" from a Galaxy S 5 as my previous phone. After reading the specs, this was the perfect phone for me. I don't watch videos or movies on my phone, so I don't need the high screen resolution. And the battery lasts a really long time.

I as a bit tentative about the Samsumg J7 at first as I just asked for the cheapest smart phone for a quick buy before a trip. Then it did freeze on me 2xs the first couple days so that I had to do a hard boot, but since then (about 2 wks) it's worked great! Love how it's so responsive to the touch & the cost made me happy.

Updating my old HTC was indeed like a trip through space... one that I had never made before... My old Phone served me very well for may years but was supported by hardly anything any longer, requiring an update... My Samsung Galaxy J7V was a seamless transition compared to my earlier update from an LG to my HTC... and the difference was like night to day... So far I love it; in fact a few days after I updated the Mrs.' flip to another J7V, and she's transitioned in smoothly with a little help from me and her being used to her Mini iPad... Today all is good in household technology-wise.

My old phone I had to charge once a day. This phone goes 4 days on a single charge.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 is a beautiful phone. The camera is great and the graphics on phone very clear. The purchase was for an 83 year old. The phone is easy to navigate but not for the 83 year old.

My mom had an old LG, so the change to this phone wasn't too bad for her. Android operating system stayed very similar, plus it seems to have a great battery. Bigger screen is good for mom, too!

I really like Samsung. This phone has twice as much space as my last one. It is missing a couple little features my last phone had but it has a better camera and more storage available.

Replaced a Galaxy 5. This 7 is easy enough to use and has way more features than I will ever use. Rick was extremely helpful making sure I made the right choice. Doc from Samsung was accomadateing as always with my stupid questions.

My MIL needed a new phone when hers went out. She wasn't looking for the lastest phone. She wanted something that would replace her Galaxy S3. Looked at several phones and decided on this one. Calls are good and she can still get the benefit of a smartphone without spending too much.

II picked this up for my daughter and it has worked really well for her. Nice screen and ti takes some good pics. I knew it was not the same as the upper end phones but no issues with this one at all.

This phone is just as nice as some of the newer ones. Just as big, good battery life, nice screen. Doesn't have all off the bells and whistles, but most of those aren't needed anyway, and you're saving hundreds of dollars.

Great phone for being on a tight budget. It does the important stuff will. Bluetooth streaming, fast 4G, WiFi, fast octo-core processor, 2 GB of RAM for running apps. Only 16 GB of storage so the micro SD card slot is a bonus. They trimmed the fat with such features at NFC, wireless charging and 5G capability missing. If you can forgo all of these features, this handset is for you. I have no regrets and the price is right. Better than Verizon's other budget phones right now.

We got this for my mom because it was cheap and works.

Like the screen size. Camera is good quality.Wish the functions were consistent with the note 3; I get confused and still trying to figure functions out.

the phone is very easy to use. I had a galaxy 6 and there are just a few differences but otherwise I like it. it does however run a little slower.

It is a good phone, does everything I need it to. Because it is not a popular brand, it is difficult to find good cases, but I do very much like the phone.
