• A:Answer This is a locked phone. It can only be activated by signing up to the Total Wireless provider. After 12 months Total Wireless will unlock the phone and you can use an other provider.

• A:Answer No Total wireless is only compatible with total wireless and you cannot unlock it unless you have it active for 1 year of service . The other j7 crown tracfone is compatible with safelink you just have to call.them provide the sim number included in package and they will get it going, it may take 1 or 2 days 2 get it going but its possible even with the safelink govt phone.
