“Is this tablet slow. I went to buy one and they told me it was going to be super slow because its an older model. They also told me that i needed to pay to use the tablet(pay for the apps that it already has).is that true.”

It's worth the price. Is not slow . It also depends wifi connectivity. Like every other device there are 100 + free apps . But there are also other apps you need to purchase depending what you want to do. I think is a great tablet for kids , my son have a lot of fun easy to use and navigate. Defensively recommended.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't find it terribly slow, it seems to be much faster than my other Fire Tablet. Also, you don't HAVE to pay for the application, but there is a charge if you want to, there are plenty of free apps out there that work just as well
