I think Samsung did away with the good kids mode (the one with the alligator). I personally liked that one better. This new one, the 4.99 fee one.... Kinda sucks honestly. You don't have to pay the fee, you can use the free settings. I'm not sure how those are since we're on the free trial still. The 3-5 games are not for 3 year olds. We downloaded a bunch of games from the play store and put them into the kids mode, but to get to them is not easy for a 3 year old.
