No both the N9000 and the N9005 are international so they will work anywhere, the difference is the N9000 is the Exynos version which features an octa-core processer, but only with 3g. The N9005 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with 4G LTE capability. Sorry for poor spelling.
