I had a Galaxy S II and it doesn't compare to the Galaxy Note II. No debate about it. If you don't want or like the pen function of the Note II, then get the Galaxy S IV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Note II. My daughter has the 3s and she is dieing to get her hands on my Note.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Both are about the same. Except the note is larger

It really is a matter of what fits your needs. The Note II is big, but offers a quad core processor versus dual core of the SIII , a stylus, and some cool app dedicated for multi tasking, such as taking notes. You have to really ask yourself will you use the Note II (or for that matter the S IV) extra functions enough to justify the additional cost. For example, my previous smartphone had a dedicated mini-HDMI port which I though I would use, I did once. The SIII is a good phone, and prices should come down quickly with the release of the S Galaxy IV. Hope this was helpful.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The galaxy note II is a more powerful phone, with longer battery life, and much larger screen. If you can deal with the size of the Note II, then it is definitely the better phone. However, you wont be disappointed with the galaxy s III
