Besides the overall size, the other biggest difference between these two cell phones is that the Note 2 supports the use of the S-Pen, which is a stylus like pen that allows you to accurately write on the Note 2's screen. The Note 2 will also come with a number of different apps that take advantage of the S-Pen. Although you can use a stylus with the Galaxy S 3, the S-Pen and it's associated apps will not be supported. -MrSamsung
