From what I have read there shouldn't be a problem using the phone down the road. The problem will be for older phones like my old S7 and my moms IPhone 7 that use a different frequency that Tmobile is getting rid of.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That previous answer makes sense. It would also mean that the Sprint version of this phone is capable of both GSM/CDMA but locked to Sprint until unlocked after its paid off.
