According to overview and specifications section of this phone it does have a Snapdragon chipset. And after comparing the model they said to the one I got yesterday, they do give you the same model as they describe which is the SM-N986U model. All the US models are the ones that have to snap dragon, as long as you're buying from the US you should get the snapdragon chipset.
