• You mean hot spotting or like your phone acting as an access point? It does hot spot or emit its own wifi signal using your cellular data. It also picks up wifi as well.

• Yes. It has WiFi capability, but will use data if unavailable. The phone can be set not to use data for Internet if you so wish. It can also be used as,a Hotspot for other devices. All are controlled by you in SETTINGS.

• yes. but if you aren't comfortable with smart phones, you may tend to still use your home computer more frequently. Ive noticed when completing assignments in my online college courses, it is easier and more efficient to still use my home computer. hope that helps.
