I have an old Sprint plan and just upgraded to the Note 8 about a week ago at Best Buy. I got the phone for $15/month for 18 months ($360 total) and was able to keep my plan exactly as it is. Be prepared though; you will have to pay tax on the phone itself when you upgrade in the store...and you will pay tax on the $999 retail price of the phone. So, you will be required to pay almost $60 in the Best Buy store AT THE TIME of the upgrade. I was unaware of this and a little surprised by it. It didn't keep me from purchasing this great phone...just caught me off guard a little.
