Yes, you can do your upgrade at Best Buy. However, you should know that as of February Sprint no longer subsidizes phones even for the old contracts. You will still have to pay for the phone outright, lease it or do 24-month installments. I had the old plan as well and when I called to upgrade two lines to the note 8 they gave me the bad news. Call Sprint directly and ask for customer retention.
